Summary:
For 2009, Coach Vidrio takes helm of Norco H.S.'s Boys Soccer Program . Previously, Coach Vidrio guided the Fontana Steelers to 'Back To Back' Citrus Belt League Championships (2008, 2009). In three seasons at Fontana, his teams achieved several CIF top ten rankings (#8 in 2008 and #5 in 2009). In 2009, he was awarded the Sam Pechia Sportsmanship Award for demonstrating Outstanding Sportsmanship in the fiercest moments of competition.
Coach Vidrio is optimistic about developing and sustaining Norco H.S.'s Boys Soccer Program. He believes the program has a young and talented core which can be developed into a regular playoff contender. Coach V., instills high standards of excellence among all of his players. He demonstrates strict adherence to his player's academic, athletic, and character development. Coach V. is happy to join the rich traditions of excellence established by the community of Norco. Through dedicated work ethic, proper guidance, and continued parental support; Norco Soccer will quickly recapture its glory of recent past.
Coach Vidrio brings seven years of coaching experience within the club, high school, and collegiate levels. Coach V. is the Head Assistant Soccer Coach at San Bernardino Valley College. He is a Chino Hills resident and works among several school districts as a Substitute Teacher and as a Bilingual Aide. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from CSUSB; and is obtaining his Teaching Credential at the University of Redlands.
